LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We would like to acknowledge that we operate and hold out events on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples. We specifically acknowledge the shared territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), q̓íc̓əy̓ (Katzie), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), máthxwi (Matsqui) and qiqéyt (Qayqayt) First Nations. We thank them for their stewardship of this land since time immemorial. It is important for us to acknowledge the lands that we’re privileged to live and work on as a way of showing respect and honouring the Indigenous Peoples of these lands. Acknowledgment is a simple way of resisting the erasure of Indigenous histories and working towards honouring and inviting the truth.
