The Enchanted Garden: UBC Botanical Garden

Over the weekend I visited the UBC Botanical Garden. We decided to bike from Kits to UBC (up that steep hill, and I made it!) and my prize for making it was a beautiful peaceful walk through the UBC Botanical Garden, and a popsicle. The gardens have all sorts of unique plants and flowers you don't usually see. Its a perfect time to visit because many are in full bloom. They have a large alpine garden (or rock garden). They also have a great garden shop, with some hard to find plants and a master gardener on-hand to answer all of your gardening and plant-related questions.

They have a lot of events and informational workshops. For more info, visit their website: http://botanicalgarden.ubc.ca

Here are some of my favourite finds. Enjoy!
